About Jonathan Reyes

I have been playing baseball since I was 3 years old. I have always aspired to play baseball at the collegiate level. Playing in college would be an incredible opportunity. As a versatile two-way player, I bring athleticism in all aspects of the game. I am a RHH that primarily plays SS and also pitches (RHP). I play Varsity baseball for Beverly High School (MA) and start at SS.

In the high school off-season, I play travel baseball for Antonelli Baseball. I have played for this organization for the past several years and love it there. I play baseball because I enjoy the competition and friendship with my teammates. I’m a tireless hard worker, selfless leader, supportive teammate, and diligent student of the game.

I have helped out the community by volunteering at local little league tryouts and umpiring minor/major little league games during the season. I have participated in a Home Run Derby and helped raise money for the ASFL organization which funds health and cancer research initiative. I also help out at practices with the Dragons travel ball organization.

In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a 4.0 GPA. My course load has mostly been honors level, and I am currently taking AP Statistics. Being a student-athlete has allowed me to learn the discipline necessary to prepare me for college balancing the workload on and off the field. In my free time I enjoy working out, playing golf, and hanging out with friends.

I am looking for a college where I can challenge myself in the classroom and on the baseball field. I am open to all levels and ultimately hope to find the right fit at the highest level of competition possible. I desire to become a great role model and make my family proud.
